IEEE Faisalabad Subsection IEEE FSYWC'25 Government College Women University Faisalabad Faisalabad, October 4, 2025 ' Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) achieved remarkable distinction at the IEEE Faisalabad Student, Young Professionals & Women in Engineering Congress 2025, held at Sitara Marquee, Civic Center, Faisalabad. Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), Vice Chancellor GCWUF, graced the event as Chief Guest and panelist in the Vice Chancellors' Panel Discussion, where she shared impactful insights on academic leadership in the digital era and underscored the vital role of women in driving technological advancement. Her address received wide appreciation from participants for its vision and inspiration. Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Coordinator Faculty of Computing and Numerical Sciences, also participated as a guest speaker, delivering an inspiring talk. GCWUF emerged as a leading institution of the congress, earning the 'Best University Participant Award' and the 'Best Collaborative Partner of IEEE Award.' Students from the Department of Computer Science further brought pride to the university by securing 1st and 3rd positions in IEEE competitions, reflecting their exceptional skill, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
