NACTE Team Visit GCWUF for Accreditation of B.Ed.(Hons.) Elementary Program Faisalabad, June 4, 2026: A delegation from the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) visited the Department of Education at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) on June 3???4, 2026, to evaluate the B.Ed. (Hons.) Elementary Program for accreditation. Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), along with the university officials, graced the orientation session on day 1. Welcoming the delegation, Dr. Aminah Qayyum, Incharge Department of Education, presented an overview of the department???s academic programs, achievements, and future plans, while Dr. Shamsa Aziz, Secretary NACTE, briefed participants on the objectives and procedures of the accreditation process. The evaluation team, led by Dr. Khisro Kaleem Raza with Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal as a member, conducted a comprehensive review of academic and administrative records, infrastructure, classrooms, laboratories, hostel facilities, library resources, and support services. The team also held meetings with faculty, students, alumni, and staff to assess compliance with NACTE quality standards. The visit concluded with a feedback session in which the NACTE team appreciated the University's commitment to quality teacher education and discussed future opportunities for academic collaboration and quality enhancement.
