The Department of Public Administration, GC Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) organized an AI Roadmap & Digital Skills Awareness Session on 11 June 2026 at the Jinnah Auditorium, GCWUF under the supervision of Dr. Aisha Imtiaz, Coordinator Faculty of Management Sciences, and Dr. Saiqa Sadiq, Head of the Department of Public Administration. The event was organized by Ms. Nayyer Sultana and Ms. Qaria Aziz, Lecturer, Department of Public Administration. The session commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Saiqa Sadiq, who emphasized the importance of digital literacy, innovation, and skill development for students in the contemporary world. Mr. Salman Raza, Director WAPEXP and Founder of WellMind & ATS, highlighted opportunities in freelancing, digital skills, and internships. He also announced a PKR 1 Million Digital Skills Scholarship Program for eligible students to support their professional and technological development. Mr. Tayyab Ijaz, AI Head at WAPEXP and Co-Founder of WellMind, delivered an insightful talk on Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, and future career opportunities, encouraging students to prepare for the rapidly evolving digital economy. In her concluding remarks, Dr. Aisha Imtiaz underscored the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in education, research, and industry, and encouraged students to continuously enhance their digital competencies. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session, followed by the distribution of souvenirs among the guest speakers as a token of appreciation. The event supported the achievement of SDG 4 (Quality Education) by promoting digital learning, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) through awareness of freelancing and employability opportunities, and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) by fostering knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and technological innovation.
