Introduction

The Health Unit of GCWUF under the direction of worthy vice chancellor is providing free primary medical care for students and university employs. A medical officer and staff nurses are available for treatment. Emergency cases are referred to Allied hospital and DHQ Hospital. The university provides the services to refer the university employs for outdoor and indoor medical treatment from government/ private hospitals on panel of university. The medical reimbursement committee performs duties of reimbursement of indoor treatment cases. In addition health Unit provide education of health and nutrition, disorder awareness, stress management, strategies to avoid stress and drug abuses by conducting seminars/webinars and workshops. The camps for hepatitis and Corona Virus free screening are occasionally held at campus by trained staff. Health Unit is seeking good practice for SOPs of Covid-19. Every member is checked for face mask and temperature on gate. It is decided under the direction of worthy vice chancellor to make diagnostic lab to facilitate the community by providing reliable results to improve the health of society.
