GCWUF Students Secure Second Place in National Egg Innovation CompetitionÚOctober 10, 2025 — GC Women University Faisalabad, under kind patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), enthusiastically participated in the World Egg Day 2025 celebrations, leveraging its expertise in dietary innovation to secure Second Position and a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 at the competitive event hosted by the University of Kamalia.ÚTwo departments, the Department of Food Science and Technology and the Department of Nutritional Sciences, brilliantly represented GCWUF. The prize-winning student team from the Department of Nutritional Sciences, competed against teams from over ten institutions. Their innovative, protein-rich dishes earned high praise. Dr Saima Tehseen from the department of Food Science and Technology received the shield of Shield of Honor and a Souvenir on behalf of the university.
