Nutrivision 2025 | Smart Nutrition in ActionÚThe Department of Nutritional Sciences, GCWUF, organized “Nutrivision: Smart Meal Expo, Nutrition Camp & Poster Exhibition” on 18 December 2025 to promote smart meal planning, therapeutic diets, and evidence-based nutrition practices. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, GCWUF, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), and warmly welcomed by the Head of Department, Dr. Madiha Ilyas, in the presence of distinguished guests including Dr. Najma Afzal Khan, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, and heads of teaching departments.ÚStudents showcased balanced and affordable meal plans for diverse socioeconomic groups and therapeutic diets for conditions such as breast cancer, PCOS, anemia, celiac disease, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and obesity, reflecting the practical application of clinical nutrition principles. A research-based poster exhibition highlighted key areas of clinical and public health nutrition, while the Nutrition Camp offered BMI assessment, dietary counselling, and nutrition education to promote preventive healthcare and healthy lifestyles.
