Seminar on Nuclear and Radiation Safety in Collaboration with PNRA�October 20, 2025 — The Department of Physics, Government College Women University Faisalabad, in collaboration with the Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA), held a Public Awareness Seminar on “Nuclear and Radiation Safety in Pakistan.”�Organized under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), and graced by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, the seminar aimed to raise awareness about safe practices in the use of nuclear technology.�Dr. Ayesha Younas, Chairperson, Department of Physics, welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of radiation safety. PNRA experts Mr. Rana Muhammad Nadeem and Mr. Amir Mehmood delivered insightful talks on the regulatory framework, safety protocols, and environmental protection measures.�An engaging Q&A session encouraged active student participation. The session concluded with souvenir distribution and a vote of thanks.
