GCWUF Co-Organizes 35th National & 23rd International Chemistry Conference (CHEMCON-2025)ÚFaisalabad, October 21, 2025 — The Department of Chemistry, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), proudly co-organized the 35th National and 23rd International Chemistry Conference (CHEMCON-2025), held under the umbrella of the Chemical Society of Pakistan (CSP). The three-day event, themed “Role of Chemistry for Sustainable Development,” was jointly hosted by GCU Faisalabad, GCWUF, and UAF.ÚThe inaugural ceremony at GCU Faisalabad was graced by Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam, Vice Chancellor, GCUF. At the same time, Prof. Dr. Rashid Ahmad, President, CSP, lauded the joint institutional efforts to advance chemical education and research.ÚProf. Dr. Atta-ur-Rahman, Patron-in-Chief CSP, delivered a special address highlighting the transformative role of chemistry in innovation and environmental sustainability. Plenary talks were presented by Prof. Dr. Yasir Nawab (VC, University of Kamalia), Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum (VC, GSCWU Bahawalpur), and Prof. Dr. Syed Ghulam Musharraf (ICCBS, University of Karachi).ÚInternational keynote speakers included Dr. Lai Ngit Shin (Universiti Sains Malaysia) and Dr. Akim Socohou Moutala (Benin), while multiple parallel technical sessions explored advances in green chemistry, nanotechnology, and environmental innovation.ÚThe day concluded with a vibrant Gala Dinner and Sufi Night, celebrating collaboration, culture, and scientific achievement.
