GCWUF Students Explore Faisalabad’s Heritage through Educational TourÚFaisalabad, October 31, 2025 — The Department of Public Administration at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) organized a recreational and educational tour to explore the city’s rich cultural and historical landmarks.ÚUsing the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) facilities, students visited key sites, including Radio Pakistan Faisalabad, Lyallpur Museum, Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower), and the Central Library. The tour provided hands-on learning about local governance, media institutions, and heritage preservation.ÚAt Radio Pakistan, students observed live studios and learned about broadcast operations, while the Lyallpur Museum visit offered insights into Faisalabad’s evolution from Lyallpur to a modern industrial hub. Visits to Ghanta Ghar and the Central Library further deepened their appreciation for the city’s architectural and educational legacy.ÚThe tour successfully combined recreation with experiential learning, enhancing students’ understanding of the linkage between culture, history, and public administration.
