GCWUF Botany Students Gain Hands-On Training in Smart AgricultureÚNovember 03, 2025 — Under the supervision of Dr. Shameem Raja and Dr. Fozia Farhat, faculty members from the Department of Botany, GCWUF, a group of PhD, MPhil, and BS students visited SPURT International for a specialized training session under the Capstone Project initiative.ÚThe session focused on aeroponics, vertical farming, and smart agriculture systems, providing participants with hands-on experience in nutrient delivery, controlled environment farming, and smart irrigation management. Experts also demonstrated the integration of IoT, automation, and precision agriculture in sustainable food production.
