GCWUF’s Art and Design Department Hosts Retro-Themed Design EventÚFaisalabad, October 28, 2025 — The Department of Art and Design at Government College Women University Faisalabad organized a vibrant Design Event celebrating the golden eras of Bollywood and Lollywood.ÚConceptualized and coordinated by Ms. Zain Manzoor (Assistant Professor), in collaboration with students from all semesters, the event presented a creative fusion of music, fashion, and art inspired by the retro classics of the 1980s and 1990s.ÚStudents worked in groups to design visual and fashion themes reflecting the cinematic charm of Indo-Pak’s film heritage. The program featured captivating live music performances by Mr. Ejaz Alu and Mr. Tabraiz Gul, while the fashion showcase brought nostalgic trends of the past to life.ÚArt displays and design exhibits highlighted the students’ creativity, craftsmanship, and deep appreciation for cultural aesthetics. The event received enthusiastic applause from the audience for its originality and artistic energy.ÚThe Department expressed pride in its students’ innovative work and reaffirmed its commitment to fostering creative expression and cultural awareness through experiential learning.
