The directive, issued in a meeting with academic and administrative heads, aims to promote sustainable practices and responsible campus behavior.ÚDr. Ameen, highlighting the Switch Asia Programme, directed departments to submit concept notes on food and waste management. She instructed the Registrar’s Office to implement a ban on plastic bottles at all academic events and to encourage the use of non-plastic alternatives. She also directed the Canteen Committee to ensure regular food quality checks.ÚThe Vice Chancellor further stressed the need for collaborative planning among societies, departments, and directorates to organize co-curricular and extracurricular activities, ensuring a balanced campus life for students.
