3rd International Conference on Recent Advances in Photonics & Physical Sciences at GCWUF Final day of the conference on "Recent Advances in Photonics & Physical Sciences" organized by the Department of Chemistry started with the theme of "Smart Sensing for e-Healthcare Applications using IoT, AI and ML Technologies" jointly chaired by Major General (Rtd) Prof. Muhammad Aslam, former Rector Shifa Medical University Ismalabad, Prof. Dr. Yasin Raja (International Chair) and Prof. Dr. Zilli Huma Nazli (National Chair). Dr. Farhat Jubeen was the convener of this final session of the conference. In his opening remarks Prof. Dr. Muhammad Aslam expressed his thoughts on the diversity of data presented by various scientists in this session. He emphasized on the fact that basic sciences are more beneficial & significant for humanity and betterment of life if its horizons are broadened as interdisciplinary, multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary research. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Yousaf, Director NIAB was the chief guest of the closing ceremony. In his insightful remarks he expressed the importance of natural intelligence and its role in human civilization. He further added that artificial intelligence is an important part of the current age but it must be made sure that its role must be restricted to benefit mankind only. He appreciated the talks shared by various researchers worldwide in eHealthcare session of the conference & reiterated that science as interdisciplinary research offers more benefits to serve the mankind. Prof. Dr. Yasin Raja (international organizer) presented the conference report to the Patron in Chief of the conference Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I). Besides, he offered his lab research facilities in UNC Charlotte for GCWUF PhD Chemistry students. The chief guest Prof. Dr. Yousaf Saleem (Director NIAB FSD) appreciated the efforts of the conference organizers and congratulated on conduction of successful event. He shared his institutional research in the field of agriculture/plant research and the promise of photonics integrated with plants research leading towards better future of humanity. He graciously offered to sign MOU with GCWUF to help students/faculty in research and skill development. Patron in chief of the conference Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq paid her gratitude for the guest and expressed vote of thanks to all guests. She appreciated the participation of students and acknowledged the role of conference sponsors, national and international participants and chairs. She expressed her hope that this conference would definetly help students/participants in shaping & improving the future research directions. Finally, the national chair of the conference Prof. Dr. Zilli Huma Nazli thanked all guests, national amd international speakers for their participation. She greatly acknowledged the patron in chief Prof Dr. Robina Farooq for her generosity and graciousness as this event could not have been successful without her faith and trust.
