Introduction

"Women Development and Mentoring Centre" Govt.College Women University, Faisalabad is dedicated to empowering women through skill-building, leadership development, and mentoring programs. It focuses on creating opportunities for women to thrive in all sectors of society. Aligned with the UN SDGs 2030, particularly Goal 5 (Gender Equality), the Centre aims to promote equality, increase access to education, and support women?s economic participation. Through mentorship, women are encouraged to pursue their goals and leadership roles, contributing to sustainable development and community progress. The Centre fosters a supportive environment where women can network, learn, and grow professionally and personally. It serves as a platform to advocate for women?s rights and raise awareness about gender issues. By advancing gender equality, the Centre contributes to a more inclusive and equitable society for all.

  1. Empowerment through Education and Skills Development: Providing women with the necessary knowledge, training, and skills to enhance their personal, professional, and social development.
  2. Promoting Gender Equality: Advocating for gender equality in various spheres of life, including work, education, and family, while tackling societal norms that hinder women's progress.
  3. Offering Mentorship and Guidance: Connecting women with experienced mentors who can guide them in their careers, personal growth, and overcoming challenges.
  4. Supporting Women's Health and Well-being: Addressing the physical, mental, and emotional health of women through counseling, awareness programs, and health services.
  5. Encouraging Leadership and Participation: Facilitating leadership opportunities and encouraging active participation of women in decision-making roles in all sectors of society.
