Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Vice Chancellor Government College Women University Faisalabad attended a two-day Vice Chancellors Conference on Civic Education on Wednesday and Thursday 16-17 August 2023. The conference was organised by Punjab Higher Education Commission in collaboration with Center for Peace and Secular Studies, and was attended by 30 Vice Chancellors of universities from all over Punjab. The speakers of the conference called for promoting the culture of patience and tolerance in the society for peace and order for the economic, social, and moral development of the country. They called civic education in the era of class division, intolerance attitudes, and disinformation a ray of hope for construction of an ideal society. This conference is a testament to the strong commitment of our educational institutions to the promotion of civic education.
