The closing ceremony of GCWUF's interns at MCB Islamic Banking under the Young Islamic Banking Professionals of State Bank of Pakistan was held on 18-08-2023 at MCB Islamic Banking, Faisalabad. In this ceremony Mr. Waqas Kashif Bajwa, Chief Manager, SBP, Faisalabad, Mr. Muhammad Akbar Senior Deputy Chief Manager, Mr. Ali Kamran and the team of MCB Islamic Banking and Dr. Asma Aziz Director Students Affairs and Dr. Syeda Samina Tahira from GC Women University Faisalabad graced the ceremony. It is a great honor for GCWUF that from Faisalabad 20 interns of the university have been offered this 6-week internship under the umbrella of State Bank of Pakistan. These interns belong to BS Islamic Banking, Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics and Economics. All the interns gained a great banking1 exposure at MCB, Islamic Banking. Bank severed the certificate of internship & Rs. 10,000/- Stipend among all interns of GCWUF. The management of MCB Islamic Banking promised for the employment of our students at MCB after the completion of their BS degree in future. On behalf of Worthy Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Dr. Asma Aziz thanked and appreciated the efforts of Mr. Bajwa, Chief Manager, SBP, FSD , Mr. Akbar, Senior Deputy Chief Manager SBP, FSD, Mr. Ali Kamran Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, Human Resources Management Group, and all the team of MCB Islamic Bank Limited for providing such opportunity for the students of GCWUF.
