It is a matter of great delight that Government College Women University Faisalabad has been ranked 4th among all the women universities around the world in UI GreenMetric World University Ranking 2021. The UI GreenMetric is an annual international ranking of the sustainable performance of universities. Universities are given scores reflecting upon their efforts in reducing their ecological footprints and sustaining their performance in the fields of education and research. There are the following 6 indicators to judge the performance of a university: Setting and Infrastructure (15%), Energy and Climate Change (21%), Waste Management (18%), Water Management (10%), Transportation Management (18%), and Education and Research (Sustainability) (18%). Government College Women University Faisalabad has first time participated in this ranking and won 4th rank with the untiring efforts of QEC and academia under the benevolent patronage of Prof Dr Robina Farooq, Vice Chancellor GCWUF.
