IPE Self Visit Government, College Women University Faisalabad, 30th March to 1st April 2022. Quality Enhancement Cell, Government College Women University Faisalabad has organized a successful Self IPE Visit of University on 30th March to 1st April 2022. Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Khan, Director QEC of Faisalabad University was the external member and Convener of Institutional Performance Evaluation (IPE) Visit. Dr. Asma Khalid, Director QEC introduced the External and Internal members of this IPE Visit. It was the first ever IPE visit after the HEC IPE Visit last year. Asif A. Malik Registrar GCW University, Dr. Zill-i- Huma Nazli, Director Academic/Coordinator Faculty of Science and Technology GCWUF and Mr. Tariq Shahzad, Director IT Services GCWUF joined as internal member of 1st IPE Self Visit. First day of the visit was started with the Presentation delivered by Asif A. Malik, Registrar GCWUF. He briefly encapsulated the history of institution over the passing years. He also highlighted the quality measures and practices accomplished by the University under the vigilant headship of Professor Dr. Prof, Robina Farooq, Vice Chancellor GCWUF. The External member conducted exclusive discussion sessions with students and faculty. This session aimed to review the understanding and implementation of basic principles of Institutional Performance and IPE related standards. On second day, the panel met with all HODs of academic departments. During the third day of visit, the panel examined the quality of infrastructure, science labs, computer labs, library, hi-tec labs and student support facilities. During the exit meeting with the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Zeeshan Khan demonstrated the objectives of the evaluation process initiated by HEC experts. The Vice Chancellor thanked the honorable External Member. The panel collectively appreciated the quality standards maintained by the university. It acknowledged the fact that despite being a young university with limited resources, its pace of progress is fast because of sound technological infrastructure, motivated and dedicated faculty, efficient administration and above all visionary leadership. Furthermore the panel also appreciated and encouraged the efforts of Director QEC and her team to conduct such kind of briefed visit.
