On April 8, 2025, in the Video Conference Room at GCWUF, the Directorate of QEC successfully conducted the Program Review for Effectiveness & Enhancement (PREE) / Self-Assessment Report (SAR) meeting. The session evaluated reports submitted by the Departments of Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Statistics, using HEC???s Quality Assurance templates. The assessment team comprised Dr. Shahid Mubeen (Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics and Director QEC, Baba Guru Nanak University), Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli (Pro-Vice Chancellor, GCWUF), and Dr. Aasma Khalid (Director QEC, GCWUF). The team conducted a thorough review and an interactive Q&A session with the respective Heads of Departments and Program Team members. Aligned with the revamped QA Framework (PSG-2023), the review focused on the program's mission and outcomes, curriculum design, faculty, student support, facilities, and institutional processes, emphasizing continuous assessment and improvement. Two Program Team members and the HoD from each department participated. Feedback and recommendations were submitted to the Director QEC. Dr. Aasma Khalid appreciated the active engagement of all participants. As a token of appreciation, a commemorative shield was presented to Dr. Shahid Mubeen for his valuable contributions.
