The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) conducted the Self Post Graduate Program Review (PGPR) on 24th???25th April 2025 for the academic year 2024???2025. The review covered 11 M.Phil. and 5 PhD programs across various departments, including Arabic, Botany, Business Administration, Chemistry, English, Food Science and Technology, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Physics, Urdu, and Zoology. The external evaluator for the visit was Mr. Muhammad Haroon, Assistant Director QEC at National Textile University, Faisalabad. Dr. Aasma Khalid, Director QEC, GCWUF, coordinated the internal review process, with administrative support from university leadership. The evaluation focused on key aspects such as program objectives, curriculum design, faculty qualifications, student data, assessment methods, research output, learning facilities, and adherence to HEC???s minimum criteria. Dr. Aasma Khalid welcomed the external reviewer and presented an overview of the university???s postgraduate offerings. Department heads delivered detailed presentations supported by course files, student records, faculty profiles, and laboratory facilities. Mr. Haroon commended the university???s academic development and shared valuable suggestions for further enhancement. The visit concluded with a tour of research laboratories, followed by the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, presenting Mr. Haroon with a shield to appreciate his contributions to the review process.
