Department of Chemistry GC Women University Faisalabad arranged two day symposium on separation techniques on 10,11 May, 2018 at Jinnah Auditorium GCWUF. Prof. Dr. Naureen Aziz Quereshi Vice Chancellor, GC Women University Faisalabad was the Chief Guest. The first speaker was Abdul Tawab Senior scientist National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering Faisalabad shared information about separation of organic compounds using normal and reverse phase chromatography. Dr Arjumand Iqbal Durani Associate Professor department of chemistry UET Lahore was the second speaker to deliver information about HPLC: Method Development and Validation. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saeed Iqbal FC College Lahore shared knowledge about Pyrolysis GC-MS analysis and its application in forensic studies. On the second day of symposium visits of research students of Department of Chemistry were arranged to HI Tech lab UAF and National Testing Research Centre NTU.
