In connection with, Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Government of Pakistan, The Department of Food Science and Technology, GCWUF organized a Food Drive under the Food Bank Community Service on 15th October, 2024 outside the campus premises. The goal of current activity is to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SGD-2 and SGD-12) i.e. Zero Hunger as well as responsible consumption and production to feed the underprivileged and deserving masses to provide relief as a community food bank. Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen (Chairperson, Department of Food Science and Technology), Dr. Mahwash Aziz (Focal Person), Dr. Saima Tehseen, Dr. Rizwana Batool, Dr. Madiha Rohi, Ms Aiza Zafar along with other faculty members distributed the ration packages among needy persons.
