Introduction

The Department of Information Technology at GC Women University Faisalabad was one of the unique in Faisalabad city with the aim to give IT education to female youth. The Department of Information Technology started BS (IT) 4 Years Program in year 2010, affiliated with Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF). On 3rd January 2013, GC Women College Madina Town got the status of University and now Department of Information Technology offering BS (IT) and MSc (IT). IT Labs are equipped with E-learning for faculty and students. The Department of Information Technology following HEC instructions related to curriculum.

• Eligibility Criteria: At least 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with mathematics, ICS, F.A (with Mathematics or computer science), F.Sc ( Pre-Medical + with additional mathematics subject), F.Sc (Pre-Engineering).

• Eligibility Criteria: 45% marks in Bachelor degree, BA , BSc with (Computer Science) BCS/ BIT, Associate degree Program (ADP) Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering
