The Department of Public Administration, working under the Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), proudly participated in the Venture Spark Multan Business Idea Competition 2024, held from December 10, 2024, at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan. This prestigious event saw participation from 36 universities across Pakistan, showcasing diverse and innovative business ideas. A total of 500 ideas were submitted, out of which 120 were shortlisted. The idea titled "Seedling and Sanctuary", conceptualized by the BS Public Administration 7th Semester students, stood out and earned a place among the shortlisted projects. Dr. Saiqa Sadiq, Head of the Department of Public Administration, accompanied the students as the departmental representative. The students confidently presented their idea, demonstrated their prototypes, and successfully sold all their samples during the event. Their participation proved to be a transformative experience, significantly enhancing their learning, communication, and presentation skills. The event provided a unique opportunity for students and faculty members to interact with prominent academic and industry leaders. Distinguished guests included the Regional Head of the Bank of Punjab, Country Head of Organ, representatives of the Agahi Program, Professor Dr. Ishtiaq Chatha, Vice Chancellor of Ghazi University, Ms. Qulsum Peracha, Vice Chancellor of Women University Multan, Professor Dr. Abdul Ghafoor, Director of IBMS at UAF, Directors of ORIC, and BIC in-charges from various universities. Their insights and presence enriched the participants' experience, offering valuable learning and networking opportunities.
