GCWUF's 4th Annual Book, Culture, and Spring Festival, A Celebration of Knowledge and Heritage Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) Faisalabad, The Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) inaugurated its two day 4th Annual Book, Culture, and Spring Festival, organized by the library of University. The event was formally opened by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, who emphasized the significance of integrating experiential learning with academic knowledge. Addressing the attendees, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen highlighted that students should not confine themselves to textbooks alone but should also engage in observation and practical experiences to enhance their learning. She encouraged students to actively participate in cultural and co curricular activities alongside academic pursuits to ensure a balanced personal and intellectual development. She further stated that this festival serves as a milestone in promoting knowledge, literature, and cultural appreciation among students. The event was graced by eminent personalities from media, academia, and industry, who underscored the importance of such initiatives in enriching students' educational and cultural experiences. The festival featured a book exhibition, cultural stalls, art and handicraft displays, and food stalls, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and faculty alike. The two day festival will continue on 26 February 2025 providing students, faculty, and guests with an opportunity to connect with their cultural heritage and engage in creative and intellectual pursuits.
