On April 30, 2025, a group of 16 students from the Department of Public Administration, Government College Women University Faisalabad GCWUF, had the valuable opportunity tovisit and interview Muhammad Shakoor Gujjar, a seasoned politician and member of the PakistanPeoples Party, PPP. This academic visit was part of the department???s experiential learning initiative aimed at polishing students communication and critical thinking skills. The primary objective was to helpstudents gain firsthand insight into the mindset, priorities, and challenges faced by political leaders in Pakistan. The interview was conducted at Mr. Gujjar residence in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The students followed a structured questionnaire that included topics ranging fromparty politics and electoral strategies to regional governance, youth engagement, and human rights advocacy. Mr. Gujjar responded candidly to each question, offering both political wisdom and personal reflection. One notable highlight was his honest acknowledgment that PPP lacks strong support in Punjaband needs to work harder to reconnect with the people of the province. This openness was appreciated by the students, who found the discussion both inspiring and thought provoking. In addition to the engaging dialogue, Mr. Gujjar showed generous hospitality by offering refreshments, creating a comfortable environment for conversation and learning. The students were deeply impressed by his humility, accessibility, and thoughtful answers. This visit not only enhanced the students??? understanding of real world politics but also motivatedthem to take a more active interest in civic affairs. They returned with a renewed sense of purposeand appreciation for public service. We thank Mr. Muhammad Shakoor Gujjar for his time and insights and extend our appreciationto the faculty and administration of GCWUF for facilitating this enriching experience.
