The Department of Public Administration organized a recreational tour on Friday, 31st October 2025, to explore the cultural and historical landmarks of Faisalabad. The Department made effective use of the Government of Punjab Tourism Development Corporation (TDCP) facility and explored various heritage sites of the city. Students visited major locations including Radio Pakistan Faisalabad, Lyallpur Museum, Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower), and the Central Library. At Radio Pakistan, students observed live recording studios, broadcasting rooms, and learned about the functioning and programming policies of the station. At the Lyallpur Museum, students explored various galleries showcasing the prominent historical personalities of the region, the role of Faisalabad in national development, and displays of historical weapons, artifacts, and cultural heritage. The museum visit provided valuable insight into the rich history, traditions, and evolution of Faisalabad from its early days as Lyallpur to its present status as an industrial and cultural hub. The visits to Ghanta Ghar and the Central Library further enhanced students understanding of the city architectural and educational heritage. The tour provided both educational and recreational exposure, broadening students perspectives on the interconnection between culture, history, and public administration.
