A seminar on ???Eradication of Beggary /Beggary Mafia??? was organized by Department of Sociology on 23-12-2021.The increase in professional beggary is becoming a serious issues of our society.Mr Ijaaz Aslam District Officer and Ms.Rubina Iqbal Child Protection Officer from Child Protection Bureau Faisalabad was the guest speaker for the event. They shared about the initiatives taken by their department to eradicate the beggary from society. They also offered the opportunity of internship to the students of sociology. A discussion was held at the end of seminar in which students asked the guests about beggary and the role being played by Child Protection Bureau. Coordinator, Arts and Social Sciences, HOD Department of sociology, faculty members and students participated in the seminar.
