On 10-6-2024,department of Sociology initiated two weeks long series of workshops under the title of "Faculty Development in Summer 2024.Dr. Muhammad Luqman Khan, Associate Professor and head of department, Riphah International University, Faisalabad Campus was the speaker for first day. Workshop was started with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat-i-Rasool Maqbool. Prof. Dr. Aysha Sameen, coordinator of Arts and Social Sciences gave a brief welcome address. Dr. Sajida Parveen, incharge department of Sociology introduced respected speaker to all the participants. Dr. Muhammad Luqman Khan held an interactive session on Parenting in Pakistani Society and also discussed the patterns of Traditional Parenting Practices versus Modern ways of Parenting. Participating faculty members shared their parenting challenges and respected speaker gave them practical solutions.Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, coordinator of Sciences and Ms. Ammara Javed, Incharge Media Cell also graced the event with their presence.
