World Fisheries Day was celebrated on 21st November 2019 by Department of Zoology, GCWUF. Each year this day is celebrated to highlight the importance of healthy aquatic ecosystems and to ensure sustainable stocks of fisheries in the world. Worthy Vice Chancellor appreciate the efforts of Dr. Safina Kousar and Dr. Faiza Ambreen for this exhibition. Vice Chancellor, Prof Dr. Robina Farooq said that Fisheries play a significant role in the economy of Pakistan.
