Seminar on Industry–Academia Linkages: Transforming Education into OpportunityFaisalabad: The Department of Nutritional Sciences, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), organized a seminar titled “Industry–Academia Linkages: Transforming Education into Opportunity” under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) and the convenorship of Dr. Madiha Ilyas. The seminar brought together industry experts, including representatives from FCCI, Virsa Agri Farms & Services, Nabbat Cares, and PAMICO Technologies, who shared insights on entrepreneurship, commercialization, innovation, food technologies, and industry–academia collaboration. The speakers also offered support through internships, mentorship, industrial visits, research collaborations, and entrepreneurial opportunities for students. Addressing the participants as Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of strengthening industry linkages to enhance students’ professional growth and practical learning. The event also featured an exhibition of innovative nutrition-based products developed by BS (HND) students, showcasing their creativity and entrepreneurial potential, while certificates were distributed among members of the Nutrition & Wellness Society in recognition of their contributions to departmental activities.
