Nutrition Festival, 2023 The Department of Nutritional Sciences, GCWUF organized Nutrition Festival on 22nd March 2023, at GCWUF. It was celebrated on the theme of the National Nutrition Month 2023 i.e. ???Fuel For the Future???. It is celebrated globally in the month of March every year. The objective of the National Nutrition Month is an annual nutrition education and information campaign, which focuses on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating habits and physical activity. The festival has four components 1. Nutrition Awareness Walk 2. Nutrition Camp 3.Cake Cutting ceremony 4. Display of Food and Nutraceutical stalls. The walk was arranged in context of the National Nutrition Month, Worthy Vice-chancellor, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I), Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali Khan, Ombudsperson Punjab, Registrar, Mr. Asif Malik, Director Students Affairs, Ms. Asma Aziz, Convener/ Incharge, Department of Nutritional Sciences, Dr. Madiha Ilyas, faculty members and students participated with full zeal and zest. Nutrition Camp and Food stalls were inaugurated by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq along with dignitaries and cake cutting ceremony was held on the celebration of National Nutrition Month. Worthy Vice Chancellor along with guests visited nutrition camp and all food stalls and appreciated the efforts of the students and the Department of Nutritional Sciences.
