The Department of Physics, GCWUF organized Project Exhibition and Poster Competition on 22nd March 2023, at GCWUF. Main idea of project exhibition was to train the young minds to think about minimizing the export bill of country through local development of innovative daily use products. The BS students of the department actively participated in the competition and developed many gadgets of daily use at economical prices. Poster competition was aimed to make undergraduate students improve their presentation and communication skills, to express their ideas and build confidence. Worthy Vice-chancellor, Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I), along with Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Ms. Nabila Hakim Ali Khan, Ombudsperson Punjab, Professor Dr Saima Akram, Chairperson Mathemetics, Miss Rizwana Tanveer Controller of Examination inaugurated the event and visited the exhibition. Worthy Vice Chancellor congratulated Dr. Ayesha Younus, Chairperson Physics department on successful conduction of the wonderful event. She appreciated the efforts of young students who came along with innovative projects, that were economical and could be projected to large scale for development of country. Honorable Judges who evaluated the posters and projects included Dr Yasir Jamil, Chairman, Department of Physics UAF and Madam Asma Khursheed Chairman Department of Physics Islamia College. They made evaluation of students' projects on the basis of innovation, execution, prototype developed, feasibility and general understanding of the field.
