Government College Women University hosted a seminar on "Sustaining Youth by Providing Effective Knowledge regarding Self-Empowerment" on 09-05-2023. The event was organized by Department of Chemistry GCWUF in collaboration with Loyal Warriors of Pakistan. The purpose of this seminar was to create awareness among the students regarding importance of implementations of reliable financial ideas for the improvement of their lives and bring a positive change in society on a larger scale. Respected Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr Robina Farooq (T.I) in the company of the Pro Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli graced the occasion as chief guest. Chairman Loyal Warriors, Major Taseer Ikram (Retd), Deputy Chairman Major Javaid Iqbal (Retd), Dr Khunsa Khakwani , Col. Farooq Malik , Dr. Kahlid Mehmood Shauq, and their team of experts informed the students regarding institutional development by creating sense of Volunteerism , individual development and entrepreneurship. Mr. Asif Hoat also addressed the audience on various innovations by Horticulture Development. Major Taseer Ikram introduced the project of planting trees in the university on theme of "Qurran Park". In this regard, all those trees will be grown in the university that are mentioned in the Holy Quran. Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Robina Farooq thanked the entire team of Loyal Warriors of Pakistan and the organizers. She informed the audience on on-going development projects of GCWUF under Horticulture department.
