The students of the Department of Nutritional Sciences, GCWUF actively participated in Academia-Industry Nexus 2026 organized by Business Incubation Center, GCUF. Their participation was facilitated under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.) and the supervision of Dr. Madiha Ilyas (HOD) through the university Business Incubation Centre (BIC). The event provided a dynamic platform for students to present innovative nutrition-based products and interact with industry professionals and academic experts. The department showcased innovative products including Glycemic Guard Flour, Gluco Nut, and Snackers, all developed with a focus on diabetes management and healthier dietary alternatives. In addition, NutriRoots, an extensive nutrition guide for children, was selected for poster presentation and appreciated for its educational and practical significance in promoting child health and nutrition awareness. The participation reflected the department s dedication to innovation, research, and the practical application of nutritional sciences while strengthening academia-industry collaboration.
