The 7th meeting of the Board of Studies (BOS) of the Department of Nutritional Sciences was held on May 19, 2026, under the leadership of Dr. Madiha Ilyas, Incharge of the Department. The meeting was attended by distinguished members including Dr. Mehnaz Nasir Khan, Head of the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition at Kinnaird College for Women, Lahore; and Dr. Sakhawat Ali, Technical Director of the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America and former Director General of PCSIR Laboratories, Lahore. During the meeting, Dr. Madiha Javaid presented the main agenda regarding the revision of the Scheme of Studies for Session 2026. Special emphasis was given to the inclusion of course AI in Nutrition and Dietetics in the curriculum to align the program with emerging trends in nutrition research, personalized nutrition, data analytics, and modern healthcare technologies. The proposed revisions were thoroughly discussed and unanimously approved by the Board members. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Madiha Ilyas, HOD, Department of Nutritional Sciences.
