Ms. Hafiza Sadia Younas, PhD Scholar from the Department of Nutritional Sciences, Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), successfully defended her PhD thesis on 12 March 2026. Her research thesis titled Therapeutic Potential of Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum) as Nutraceutical in Arthritis highlights the therapeutic and nutraceutical potential of Tulsi in the management of arthritis. The defense was conducted in the presence of internal and external examiners, along with faculty members, committee members, and scholars who attended the session and appreciated the quality and significance of the research work. At the conclusion of the defense, the committee members and participants congratulated the PhD scholar and her supervisor, Dr. Madiha Ilyas, on the successful completion of the doctoral research.
