Ms. Nadia Zafar, Assistant Professor , Department of Art and Design, attended a one day symposium ' A Vexing discourse on Art: How to map a timeline of Pakistani Art' as an invited guest on 21st November, 2025 at National College of Arts, Kasb-e-Kamal Kun, NCA Triennale 2025. . The symposium featured a panel of renowned artists and educators including Prof. Salima Hashmi, Quddus Mirza, Manmeet K Walia, Aasim Akhtar, Amina Ijaz and Asad Hayee. The two sessions of the symposium were followed by a workshop including groups of academicians from different universities and Art Institutions of Pakistan to debate the key points of teaching methodologies for art history. The symposium ended with a call for collaboration between faculties of different Institutions in formulating and collaborating on variety of methodologies for imparting art historical knowledge to the students.
