Faisalabad, April 22, 2025 ' The Department of Geography at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) hosted a Geographic Project Display in conjunction with Earth Day 2025, highlighting the role of digital mapping in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability. The event showcased thematic maps using tools such as Google Earth, ArcGIS, and Remote Sensing to visualize issues like climate change, deforestation, and urbanization, while promoting real-time environmental monitoring.
Organized under the supervision of Dr. Mubarra Noreen, the event successfully highlighted the importance of geospatial technologies in environmental education and action.
