The art of moving ahead and personal growth is indispensable for a civilized and stable society. People who are stuck at one point in life are neither fruitful for self/others nor can they benefit the society they belong to. One significant cause behind our moral and social decline is mental instability.Today, people exhibit less frustration tolerance in response of environmental snags leading quarrel on minor issues at home and work. Severe interpersonal conflict at work is a barrier in uplifting the standard of any organization. Besides, students owing to psychological disturbance could not perform well in academics despite having sufficient intellectual resources.
Considering this, the department of Applied Psychology decided to establish a"Psychological Wellness Center" to help university staff/ students and outsiders in overcoming and managing their psychosocial problems, developing coping skills to combat personal, academic, familial and social difficulties and enabling them to grow toward the positive pole of life.
