Applied Psychology Organizes Mental Health Camp under “Youngs Initiative for SDGs”On May 12, 2025, the Department of Applied Psychology, GCWUF, held a mental health camp at Rehab Home, Sehgal City, Faisalabad as part of the Youngs Initiative for SDGs, supporting SDG-3: Good Health and Well-being.Supervised by Dr. Saira Khan (Focal Person) and Ms. Hafiza Saba Javaid (Event Organizer), students were trained to assess psychological factors linked to substance use disorders.The camp was hosted with the support of Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Dogar, Dr. Muhammad Moaaz Arif, and Mr. Faiz Mohiuddin, who guided students through the process of conducting interviews and using psychological screening tools for conditions like OCD, depression, anxiety, and emotional dysfunction.The activity offered hands-on learning for students and valuable support to the residents of the Rehab Home, successfully bridging academic training with community mental health service.
