GCWUF Holds Seminar on “The Power of Reading: Fuel for Success”�Faisalabad, October 6, 2025 — The Friend Club of the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), in collaboration with the Literary Society and Reading Club (GCWUF) and the Society of Reading and Knowledge (SRK), organized a seminar titled “The Power of Reading: Fuel for Success.”�Marking the first activity of the Literary Society and Reading Club under the Developing Young Leaders (DYL) Program, the event promoted reading as a tool for creativity, knowledge, and personal growth.�Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Convener Library Committee, appreciated the collaborative effort to revive reading culture on campus. Ali Ahmad Sian, Divisional Director of Education, and Dr. Khalid Hassan, Principal, Government Municipal Degree College Faisalabad, highlighted books as lifelong companions and symbols of success.�Students of the university enthusiastically participated in reading competitions in Urdu and English, showcasing their literary talent and passion for books.
