Seminar on Reproductive Health Care, Child Health, and Development'||chr(34)||' to Highlight SDG-3ÚÚOn May 14, 2025, the Department of Applied Psychology at GCWUF organized a seminar titled “Reproductive Health Care, Child Health & Development” under the project Youngs Initiative for SDGs, aligning with SDG-3: Good Health and Well-being.ÚThe event was convened by Dr. Asma Khalid, Director QEC, and supervised by Dr. Saira Khan, focal person of the initiative.ÚRenowned gynecologist Dr. Nadia Hussain led an engaging session covering pregnancy, maternal health, STDs, and reproductive rights, emphasizing timely medical support and education to reduce maternal mortality.ÚMs. Hafiza Saba Javaid, Lecturer, Department of Applied Psychology, delivered a detailed talk on child development, exploring emotional, physical, cognitive, and language growth in early childhood.ÚThe seminar was well-received by students and faculty, offering critical insights into both physical and psychological dimensions of maternal and child health, and effectively promoting health awareness among young female learners.
