Seminar on Reproductive Health Care, Child Health, and Development'||chr(34)||' to Highlight SDG-3��On May 14, 2025, the Department of Applied Psychology at GCWUF organized a seminar titled “Reproductive Health Care, Child Health & Development” under the project Youngs Initiative for SDGs, aligning with SDG-3: Good Health and Well-being.�The event was convened by Dr. Asma Khalid, Director QEC, and supervised by Dr. Saira Khan, focal person of the initiative.�Renowned gynecologist Dr. Nadia Hussain led an engaging session covering pregnancy, maternal health, STDs, and reproductive rights, emphasizing timely medical support and education to reduce maternal mortality.�Ms. Hafiza Saba Javaid, Lecturer, Department of Applied Psychology, delivered a detailed talk on child development, exploring emotional, physical, cognitive, and language growth in early childhood.�The seminar was well-received by students and faculty, offering critical insights into both physical and psychological dimensions of maternal and child health, and effectively promoting health awareness among young female learners.
