The Department of Commerce successfully organized a seminar titled '||chr(34)||'Financial Literacy'||chr(34)||' for the students of BS Commerce GCWUF dated May 12, 2025 (Monday) in video conference room. Ms. Rufia Saeed was the focal person of the seminar under the supervision of Dr. Aisha Imtiaz, Incharge department of Commerce, GCWUF. The session aimed to enhance students'||chr(39)||' understanding of personal finance and introduce them to career opportunities in the financial sector.ÚMr. Muhammad Ishfaque, the Branch Manager of Bank Islami Susan Road, Faisalabad served as the guest speaker. Drawing from his extensive experience in Islamic banking, Mr. Muhammad Ishfaque provided insights into the principles of Islamic finance, emphasizing the importance of ethical financial practices. He discussed various financial products and services offered by Islamic banks, highlighting their relevance in today'||chr(39)||'s financial landscape.ÚThe seminar covered key topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and the significance of financial planning. ÚThe session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment, where students engaged with the guest speaker seeking advice on financial management and career development. In the end, Prof. Dr. Saima Akram, Coordinator, Faculty of Management Sciences presented a souvenir to the guest speaker as a token of appreciation.
