Dr. Nusrat Zahra Speaks on World Biodiversity Day at Radio Pakistan FM93ÚTo commemorate World Biodiversity Day 2025, Dr. Nusrat Zahra from the Department of History and Pakistan Studies at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) was invited as a guest speaker on Radio Pakistan FM 93 Faisalabad on May 22. Centered on this year’s global theme, “Harmony with Nature and Sustainable Development,” Dr. Zahra shed light on the urgent need to conserve biodiversity and its vital link to climate resilience and sustainable ecosystems. She emphasized Pakistan’s rich natural heritage and called for joint efforts from youth, academia, and policymakers to safeguard the environment in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Her message echoed a powerful reminder: “Biodiversity is not just about wildlife — it’s about securing our future on this planet.”
