GCWUF Sparks Startup Spirit with Zindigi Prize Business Idea ContestÚFaisalabad, July 2, 2025 — A powerful celebration of student-led innovation took place at Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) as the Department of Economics, in collaboration with the Business Incubation Center (BIC) and Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), organized the Zindigi Prize Campus Round 2025.ÚThe event featured 18 innovative business ideas from students across departments. Judges included Mr. Farooq Jamal (Director, Business Incubator, NTU), Ms. Hira Mubeen (CEO, Yumkins), and Ms. Amina Tehseen (CEO, Fruitzila), who assessed ideas on market potential, customer targeting, and financial feasibility.ÚTop positions were secured by A Novel Method to Green Pakistan Initiative (First), YouQuiz (First Runner-Up), and Industrial Pollution Tracker (Second Runner-Up). Prof. Dr. Ayesha Sameen, Coordinator Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, welcomed the guests and emphasized the role of student entrepreneurship in economic growth.ÚThe organizing efforts of Ms. Mommna Abdul Rehman, Incharge Department of Economics, were highly appreciated.
