Vice Chancellor GCWUF Outlines Strategic Priorities for Fall Semester 2025ÚFaisalabad, September 4, 2025 — Vice Chancellor Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF), Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), chaired a meeting with all coordinators, heads of departments, and senior officials to review academic, research, financial, and administrative priorities ahead of the Fall Semester 2025.ÚThe Librarian presented a briefing on the use of the newly established Institutional Digital Repository (IRC) and its content management. The VC urged the documentation of ongoing MPhil and PhD research projects in IRC. The uniform study leave policy, admissions’ review, and campus management issues, revised research award policy and quality of research and teaching were emphasized explicitly by the Chair. ÚProf. Dr. Ameen was also sensitised about the judicious use of institutional resources to reduce operational costs and foster sustainability.ÚReaffirming GCWUF’s commitment to quality education and global competitiveness, Dr. Ameen highlighted that teaching, research, and community engagement remain the backbone of a strong academic environment and urged faculty to further enhance their contributions in all areas.
