Vice Chancellor Chaired First Meeting of the Disaster Management Committee for Flood Relief ActivitiesÚFaisalabad (September 8, 2025) — Government College Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) has launched a comprehensive drive to aid flood victims under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), who chaired the first meeting of the newly formed Disaster Management Committee. Convenor of the Committee Dr. Sana Aslam, along with the Registrar and Treasurer of the university, attended the meeting.ÚDuring the session, it was decided to collect donations, including usable household items in good condition and food supplies, from students, faculty, and other donors. It was also resolved that one-day salary of employees of Grade 17 and above will be contributed to the Flood Relief Fund on a voluntary basis.ÚA Flood Relief Camp will be set up within this week on the university premises and will remain functional for the collection of donations and goods. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ameen stressed that supporting flood-affected families is a national duty and urged all employees to participate wholeheartedly in this noble cause.
