GCWUF Observed the Global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence through a Series of ActivitiesÚGovernment College Women University Faisalabad, under the Women Development and Mentoring Centre, observed the global 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence through an awareness seminar and allied advocacy initiatives. At an awareness seminar on November 25, 2025, the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen (T.I.), reaffirmed the university’s commitment to creating secure, inclusive, and respectful academic spaces for women. In her address, the Vice Chancellor emphasized that raising awareness is essential for creating a society where women live with dignity, confidence, and freedom from fear. A Turkish delegation also joined the seminar, adding an international dimension to the dialogue. ÚAs part of the broader campaign, GCWUF held an awareness walk, displayed student-made posters, and set up an information and awareness desk on Digital Gender-Based Violence. These activities promoted equality and non-discrimination, acknowledging the vital role of female student volunteers in advancing gender-based activism.
