Department of Zoology, GCWUF organised a curriculum based project display on 25th May 2023 on the theme ???The microbial applications in pollution management and industrial processes???. Bioremediation is a process which involves the application of biological agents to contaminated areas for removal and reduction of contamination, the restoration and protection of the environment, ensuring the health and safety of communities, and promoting sustainable practices in pollution management. Bioremediation and Bioprocessing is a course offered in BS Zoology 8th semester. Dr. Sumaira Aslam is the course instructor. Students of the 8th semester presented different projects under her supervision. The project representation was well-organized, and concise, and effectively communicated the alignment between the project and the course curriculum. Students presented different ideas that ensured a sustainable environment by adopting different bioremedial techniques. The house was graced by Pro-VC Prof Dr. Zilli Huma Nazli, Head of Zoology Department Dr. Tamseela Mumtaz, focal person Dr. Sumaira Aslam, all the faculty members of the Zoology department, and students. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Zilli Huma Nazli appreciated the untiring efforts of the HOD, Focal persons,s and students.
